A Day In The Life
At The Ark Academy, no two days feel routine—but every day is intentional.
Students begin their morning grounded in the presence of God. Whether through personal prayer, worship, or a brief devotional in the classroom, we set the tone early: this is a place where the Holy Spirit is welcome and where students are taught to hear His voice and respond.
From there, the academic day is marked by focus, structure, and engagement. In our elementary classrooms, students experience a hands-on, curiosity-driven environment that builds independence and a love for learning. As students grow, they move into a more rigorous rhythm—engaging in live instruction, rich discussions, and classical learning that sharpens their thinking and communication. But learning here doesn’t stop at academics.
Throughout the day, students are invited into moments of discipleship and activation. This might look like:
- Pausing to pray for a classmate
- Engaging in Spirit-led discussions during Bible or spiritual life classes
- Participating in chapel services that are student-led and presence-driven
- Taking what they’ve learned and putting it into action through leadership, service, and outreach
Afternoons often include a continuation of core subjects, creative electives, or spiritual activation. Older students may participate in Spiritual development or more advanced coursework, preparing them to step confidently into their future careers and callings.
We also believe learning extends beyond the classroom. Through field trips, immersion experiences, and mission opportunities, students encounter the real world equipped not just with knowledge, but with conviction and purpose.
By the end of the day, our goal is simple: students leave not just educated, but transformed, more confident in who they are, more grounded in truth, and more prepared to impact the world around them.
A day at The Ark Academy is designed to develop the whole student: spirit, mind, and character.
